Albert Breer explained why Shedeur Sanders wasn’t picked early in the NFL Draft. Even though Shedeur was a big name, teams didn’t see him as a first-round talent. Breer said part of the issue was how Shedeur handled the process—like not throwing at the combine and giving off the impression he didn’t take interviews seriously. Some teams were also worried that drafting him might come with the pressure of hiring his dad, Deion Sanders. Breer said the odds are now stacked against Shedeur because lower-round picks get fewer chances to prove themselves.
